Guilherme Vissotto shares a branding and visual identity for psychopath Rafaela Peixe. In some situations psychiatry may seem taboo, so having a visual identification that can arrest and detain the patient is ideal. The treatment and techniques used by Rafaela are extremely professional and are based on strong pillars of medical psychiatry, but are done to seek and show healing, refuge, peace, security and hope.
The biggest challenge of the project was to apply these concepts to the visual part without losing the solidity and seriousness of the work, so the emblem was constructed after literally hundreds of different attempts and tests of position and detail. My client had previously used the dandelion as a symbol and visual attribute, and it was improved with the insertion of two other elements to maintain the concept: a fish and the sun.
To bring more personality and primarily spirit, the personal side of the business, the discreet figure of a fish was embedded in the middle of the dandelion, a reference to the psychopath’s nickname (Peixe = fish). Thus, we are able to reach a very immersion point in the concept of delving into the patient’s problem, understanding, solving, welcoming the individual side into the treatment with the patient.
It was characterized by minimalism and modern design, with very few elements brought into a well-organized and clean layout, placing a total focus on the symbol, which was created from a geometric grid, which That the insert was planned for the best possible position and spacing of the details. ,
The office’s architecture and surroundings greatly influenced the choice of colors in the style of minimal details and outlines, matching the walls and chairs. Everything talks to each other in a harmonious and functional way, producing a nice visual solution.
Eliminating the logo creation part, the font chosen brings a good readability and legibility, thus, creates no conflict with the symbol, is able to be used with or without the icon and still maintains its identity .
